Patients Rising Now signed onto a letter of support for the bipartisan and bicameral Preserving Patient Access to Home Infusion Act (S.2652/H.R.5067). For decades, home infusion therapy services have been a lifeline for millions of Americans by delivering lifesaving treatments to patients while reducing costs, infection risks, and unnecessary facility visits. Home infusion therapy has also broken down access barriers for those who cannot travel to receive care from a distance or time perspective. Medicare has made efforts to include home infusion as part of its benefits, but access to the program has been limited in recent years. The Preserving Patient Access to Home Infusion Act would make sure Medicare beneficiaries who need home infusion have access to it when they need it. We encourage Congress to take action on this critical issue and we encourage everyone to read the letter.
