Huntington’s Disease is a rare, degenerative disease that leads to the breakdown of cells in the brain. For decades, patients who received that devastating diagnosis have had to undergo months, and even years, of waiting and maneuvering through red-tape before they could receive financial support and treatment. Senators Gillibrand & Cassidy and Congressmen Pascrell & Kinzinger have introduced legislation to expedite the access to treatment for patients diagnosed with Huntington’s and we are extremely grateful for their efforts.
